Order Tracking

Last updated:

Enter your order number and the email address you used at checkout to see the status of your Nest Made order. Your order number is in the order confirmation email we sent when you placed your order.

To track your order please enter your Order ID in the box below and press the "Track" button. This was given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email you should have received.

What you need to check your order

The form at the top of this page asks for two things: the order number from your confirmation email, and the billing email address you used at checkout. Both must match the same order. If you have an account, you can also sign in and open My account to see every order you have placed and its status, without typing the order number each time.

What your order status means

Every Nest Made order is prepared for you after you place it, so its status moves through a few calm, predictable stages. Here is what each one means and how long it usually lasts.

Order statuses on nestmade.shop
StatusWhat it meansWhat you can do
Pending paymentThe order was started but payment has not been confirmedComplete payment, or check with your payment provider; no piece is prepared until payment is confirmed
ProcessingPayment is confirmed and your piece is being prepared from your order notes; this takes 1-3 business daysWithin 24 hours of ordering, email us to change or cancel
CompletedYour order has been prepared and shipped from the USA; a tracking email has been sentFollow the carrier tracking link in your shipping email
CancelledThe order was cancelled, by you within 24 hours or by us if it could not be fulfilledCheck your email for the refund confirmation
RefundedA refund has been issued for all or part of the orderAllow a few business days for your bank to show it

“Completed” on our site means your order has left us. The carrier’s tracking page then shows its journey, which usually takes 7-14 business days to the United States, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

Using the carrier’s tracking link

When your parcel ships, we email you a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s page. A few things are good to know:

  • The first scan can take a day or two. A status like “label created” or “pre-shipment” right after shipping is normal; the parcel has been packed and is waiting for its first carrier scan.
  • Parcels crossing a border may pause. Orders to Canada, Australia and New Zealand ship from the USA, and tracking can go quiet for several days while a parcel moves between countries or through customs.
  • Local carriers may take over. Near the end of the journey, a local postal service may deliver your parcel, and the tracking number can change or a second link may appear.
  • Estimated delivery dates are estimates. Weather, holidays and busy seasons can move them by a few days.

Can’t find your order number?

Search your inbox for “Nest Made” or “nestmade.shop”, including spam and promotions folders. If you still cannot find it, email support@nestmade.shop with the name and email address used at checkout and the approximate order date. We reply within 24 hours on business days with your order number and its status.

If the tracking form does not find your order

  • Check that the order number has no extra spaces or the “#” symbol.
  • Use the same email address you entered at checkout; a gift recipient’s email will not work unless it was used to place the order.
  • If you placed the order very recently, wait a few minutes and try again.
  • If it still does not work, email us; we will look it up for you.

When to contact us about a delivery

Most parcels arrive within the estimated window. Please email us with your order number and a screenshot of the tracking page if:

  • tracking has shown no movement for a week or more;
  • the estimated delivery date has passed and there is no update;
  • tracking says “delivered” but you cannot find the parcel after checking around your entrance, with neighbours, building reception and your local post office;
  • tracking shows an address problem, a failed delivery attempt or that the parcel is being returned to us;
  • your parcel arrived damaged.

We look into it, contact the carrier where needed and agree a solution with you. Our Shipping & Delivery page explains how we handle late, lost and damaged parcels.

Timing at a glance

  • Change or cancel: within 24 hours of ordering.
  • Preparation: 1-3 business days.
  • Transit: 7-14 business days to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Shipping cost: free, with no minimum.
  • Returns: 60 days from delivery, free return label.
  • Refund: within 7 days of receiving your return.

Tracking a gift you sent

Order and shipping emails go to the buyer, not to the recipient. If you sent a gift to new parents, you can forward the tracking link to them, or keep an eye on it yourself and let them know when it is close. If the parcel needs attention, for example an address question from the carrier, the carrier may contact the recipient, so it helps to tell them a parcel is on the way.

Tracking an order with several items

Items in one order usually ship together. Occasionally a larger sign and a soft blanket travel in separate parcels so neither is squashed. If that happens, you receive a tracking number for each parcel, and the order status shows “Completed” once everything has shipped. Shipping is never charged twice.

Tracking a return

When you return an item, the free return label we email you has its own tracking number. Keep your drop-off receipt and follow the return with that number. Once the return reaches us, we confirm by email and issue your refund within 7 days, or add store credit, which never expires. See our Returns & Exchanges Policy and Refund Policy.

Moving or away when your parcel arrives

If you will be away, or you are moving before delivery, email us as soon as possible with your order number and new address. Within 24 hours of ordering we simply update it. After that, if the parcel has not shipped yet, we tell you whether we can still change it; once it is with the carrier, we can ask about a redirect, though carriers do not always allow one.

Planning around a date

Tracking is most useful when you have a date in mind, like a baby shower, a newborn photo session or a coming-home day. From the day you order, allow 1-3 business days of preparation plus 7-14 business days in transit, or roughly 8-17 business days in total. If the tracking estimate shows your parcel arriving after your date, a card on the day saying the gift is on its way works beautifully; most parents use these pieces for years.

Examples of what tracking might show

A sign on its way to Texas

Day 1: order placed, status Processing. Day 3: status Completed, shipping email with tracking. Tracking shows “label created”, then “in transit” the following day, and a series of scans as the parcel crosses the country. It arrives within the 7-14 business day window.

A blanket travelling to Auckland

The parcel leaves the USA and tracking pauses for several days while it travels internationally. A New Zealand scan then appears, sometimes with a new local tracking number, and the local carrier delivers it. A quiet period in the middle is normal for international parcels.

A parcel marked delivered but not found

Tracking says “delivered” at 2:14 pm, but nothing is at the door. The parents check with neighbours and the building’s mailroom, then email us with the order number and a screenshot. We contact the carrier and agree the next step with them.

Why there is no tracking during preparation

For the first 1-3 business days after you order, your piece is being prepared from your order notes, so there is no carrier tracking yet. Your order status shows Processing during this time. This is also the period in which, within 24 hours of ordering, you can still ask us to change names, details or the address. Once your piece is packed and handed to the carrier, the status changes to Completed and your tracking email is sent.

Busy seasons and holidays

Before the winter holidays and during spring baby-shower season, carriers handle many more parcels than usual. Our preparation time stays at 1-3 business days, but carrier scans can be less frequent and transit can sit toward the longer end of the 7-14 business day window. Public holidays in the United States, and in the destination country, are not business days for carriers either. If you are ordering for a date during these periods, order a little earlier than usual.

Your tracking details and privacy

Tracking pages show limited information, such as the destination city and delivery events, to anyone who has the tracking number. Share the number only with people you want to follow the parcel. The order details on this page, which can include the items, addresses and your order notes, are shown only to someone who enters both the order number and the email address used at checkout, so keep that pair private if your order includes a name that has not been announced yet.
